Stephen's been one who's always up for an adventure (but not too crazy ;)) which has been a lot of fun! He's really helped break me out of my shell when it comes to being spontaneous and trying new things. The picture below is from his 23rd birthday - I got him a flying lesson which he loved! I don't know if I'll be able to top this gift but it was a great day and I loved surprising him with something he's always wanted to do.
I love that Stephen wants to spend time with me and wants to be very involved with our future family. We love doing fun things together and that could be going out to an event or staying at home and watching a movie - we love spending time together. I see guys who want to go off and do things on their own or would rather spend time with their friends and that really makes me appreciate Stephen!
We used to go to Disney all the time (when we had passes) and it was always a blast!
Stephen is the caretaker of our family and I love that! We definitely embrace the traditional roles in a marriage and I wouldn't have it any other way. He's also quick to stand up for me or come to my aid (like last week when I locked myself out of the new house and he had to drive 45 min to come unlock the door for me... oops!)

Stephen's one of the hardest workers that I know. He won't stop until the job is done 100%. He is completing his dreams of being a rocket scientist and I couldn't be more proud! He also always encourages me to accomplish my goals.

Stephen is my rock (Jesus is my first rock). He always calms me down if I get upset or flustered and tries to think of solutions to the problem (#engineeringprobs).

So here's to your 26th birthday, my love! I hope you have the best year and can't wait to celebrate many more!

As a bonus, we always look like we hate each other when we take "serious" pictures....
