Last week, Christina tagged me in a post about 10 things I love and 10 things I hate which was so nice of her! And then, I totally blanked about it until I saw Owen's post yesterday - thanks for the reminder ;)
I'd love to see what y'all think about my list and if there's anything you agree with :)
LOVE
1. Monograms
2. Having a house - there's so much space!
3. Chino shorts
4. Staying at home with the hubby
5. Curling up with a good book/movie while it's dreary outside
6. Fall (but the up north fall, not the FL fall)
7. Being at my parents' house
8. Basically anything southern (food, accents, clothes, names, sayings, words, hospitality, etc.)
9. Thanksgiving & Christmas
10. A clean and organized house
HATE
1. Scary movies
2. Bugs! We're trying to get rid of all the bugs in and around the house. Since it was foreclosed, the bugs kinda settled so we're slowly pushing them out (it's really not that bad I'm just dramatic)
3. Not having TV
4. Yard work - really learning I don't like this one especially during FL summers
5. Taylor Swift... I know, I'm awful
6. When people exaggerate their stories
7. Being far away from my family
8. Indian foods
9. Alcohol - I just can't do it, it all tastes so gross to me
10. Not having snacks when I'm hungry - nobody likes a hangry girl
Side Note: This list does not include my loves for Jesus, Stephen, family, etc. Those are always my #1
Linking up with Annie.
Yes to all of your loves - especially being at parents house/staying home/fall and those holidays! Haha I hate scary movies too!
ReplyDeleteOMG yes, I hate bugs! That would definitely be on my list and I think it's a requirement for us girls in the south to love a good monogram!
ReplyDeletenot a mom
Yeah! You'd think I wasn't born and raised in FL with me running around like a baby if something touches my leg lol
DeleteThis was such a fun post. Loved it so much that I MAY just have to copy haha! And I'm with you - I dont really care for Taylor Swift. She just kind of annoys me!
ReplyDeleteI love anything and everything about the South, too - I swear I was born in the wrong place! If only I could convince my husband to move down there!
ReplyDeleteI don't like Taylor Swift's music. It is not country (I like other music, but country should be country) and is too teenager-y for my taste. And her personality seems to be more "deliberately weird for the sake of trying to attract attention" in the last year or two.
ReplyDeleteAlcohol is a taste that you have to get used to. I prefer wine, cider, and flavored vodka in club soda. I am rarely in the mood for beer anymore.
I second all of your "loves!" There is something so special about the South! :) Xo, Stephanie
ReplyDeleteThanks! Maybe one day we'll make it up to the south ;)
DeleteThis is going to sound crazy but I do not own one monogrammed thing. Nothing. I live in PA and I guess maybe it's more of a southern thing? I think monograms are so cute though, so maybe I need to get something monogrammed! :)
