The only problem I had, was that Publix didn't have a ton of great avocados so I didn't have time to let mine ripen. I had to throw them in a blender in order to mash them up so that's why it doesn't look smooth like regular guac. Definitely want to try this recipe again but with ripe avocados.
Ingredients:
- 4 rips avocados
- 3 tbsp fresh cilantro, chopped
- 1 clove garlic
- 3/8 diced red onion
- 1 diced tomato
- 2 tbsp lime juice
- salt and pepper to taste
Directions:
Mix ingredients together then, chill in the fridge until ready to serve
Make sure to leave the pit(s) in the guac to keep from turning brown - it really does work!

I swear I've been having the worst luck with not-ripe-enough avocados lately! The recipe looks delicious, though!

Yes!! I was barley able to get 4 avocados from about 30! Definitely going to have to let them ripen next time!

ReplyDeleteThat looks so delicious! I'm a huge fan of guacamole, but I always cheat and buy it from either Whole Foods or Trader Joe's. I'll have to try this recipe out!
