We kicked off summer with a trip to Chattanooga, TN to visit my parents, play tourist, catch up with family and friends and kick off summer with a cook out. This was such a fun trip and I can't wait to go back for Christmas!
We spent most of June preparing for our move to our new house! This was such a blessing to be able to buy a house and get out of our tiny apartment. It's been over 2 months and we couldn't be happier with how everything worked out! There's still a lot to be done and I can't wait to get involved with the community more once things slow down. I also did a house tour which you can see here.
During August, we spent more time relaxing and enjoying the house rather than working on it. We also hosted Stephen's parents for the first time and I went to my sister-in-law's girls babymoon.
This weekend we are saying goodbye to summer with my parents and another cook out (bringing in summer and ending it with them)! September is going to be a fun month for us - getting all the fall things out, taking a Disney day trip, get back to working on the house, watching college football and celebrating our niece at my sister-in-law's baby shower at the end of the month! So come Tuesday, I will pack away the white pants (for the most part) and move my colorful dresses to the back of the closet until spring. BRING IT, FALL!
