Weekend Ramblings

Monday, June 1, 2015

This weekend was the first weekend in a while that we've spent it at home and I must say it was marvelous! Friday, we didn't do much and enjoyed just relaxing at home. Saturday we were up bright and early - we ended up cleaning the whole apartment (so nice to have it done early so we didn't have to spend Sunday cleaning). We also went master bedroom furniture shopping which was super easy and fun - can't wait to show y'all what we picked out!! Stephen's parents came up and met us for dinner that night; it was very enjoyable and we loved hearing about their upcoming trip to Germany. Sunday was filled with church, Publix, laundry and more relaxing.

Overall, we didn't have too much going on this weekend, but it was so nice not having to be anywhere.

I did finally finish reading Killing Kennedy on Saturday (only took me over a month) and I loved it! It was very intriguing to read about the man behind Camelot and his life story. I would definitely recommend it, I'm excited to start reading Girl on a Train next. Everyone seems to love it! It'll be perfect to read on our beach trip at the end of the month.

Speaking of the end of the month, how did it become June 1st already? I can't believe May has come and gone! I am welcoming June with open arms because we've got a lot of exciting things happening this month!

Hope everyone had a great weekend! Linking up with Biana.

  1. Curious about what your bedroom will look like. We are about to move soon, so I am thinking about changing ours when we find a new place.
