Nashville, TN

Alright y'all, I need some help! In a few weeks, Stephen and I will be going to Nashville for my cousin's wedding. We will have 1 day to ourselves to tour around before my family meets up with us. I haven't really done much research into the city but I know we want to hit the Draper James store (okay, that's just me), the music area and I'd like to get our picture in front of "I Believe in Nashville" painting.

As a note, every night we'll be doing something family/wedding related so we won't be able to do much nightlife but I would appreciate any lunch/breakfast spots!

Thanks in advance for the advice!!

  2. Nashville is my favorite!! I honestly don't remember the names of any of the restaurants we went to but I don't think you can go wrong!

  3. Firefly is awesome for brunch!! Also, check on the Christmas dates at Gaylord Opryland because if the decorations are up (I think after the 10th maybe?), it's so gorgeous and will get you in the Christmas spirit. Even if they're not, walking around in the hotel is fun and gorgeous!

  4. YAY!!!!!! So excited for y'all's trip to Nashville, you're going to love it!

    Here are some...
    The Pharmacy
    Hattie B's
    Lovelace Cafe
    Joey's House of Pizza
    Five Daughters Bakery
    Puckett's
    Biscuit Love
    Pancake Pantry
    Jeni's ice cream
    Maggiano's
    Amerigo
    312 Pizza Company

Okay, that's all that I can think of right now lol. We haven't been to all of those, yet, but we have been to most and loved them and the ones we haven't been to we've had family and friends go there and love them! I would definitely recommend The Pharmacy, it's our FAV!!!!

    - I toured the Country Music Hall of Fame with my family when I was younger and it was pretty awesome. What dates in November are you coming? Opryland Hotel usually decorates for Christmas early November, and it's beautiful at Christmas time, and a great place for a couple of cute Christmas pictures lol. November 11th is when Gaylord Opryland ICE opens up and this year the theme is Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer...I went to that a few years ago and it was pretty fun, too! Also, Opryland hotel is right beside Opry Mills mall so there is always shopping lol.

    - If the weather is nice y'all could always do a Segway tour, they are a little pricey, but I have heard they are a lot of fun!

    - Also, if the weather is nice y'all could go down to the Parthenon and there are usually a lot of food trucks there to choose from. If you follow Nashville Food Truck Association on Twitter they usually tell where they are for the day lol.

    So exciting!!! :)
