Weekending | A Baby Shower & Date Night

Monday, March 30, 2015

This weekend was so lovely and relaxing. Friday I flew home from Atlanta and enjoyed some peace and quiet for an hour before Stephen came home (I'm most productive when Stephen isn't home lol). After eating sushi for dinner, we watched Interstellar which ended up being a really good movie! I cried through most of it and now Stephen's into trying to figure out Einstein's theory of relativity. It's definitely an intense movie that really makes you think.

Saturday morning I headed over towards Orlando for a baby shower for a girl at work. She's the cutest pregnant lady ever and is expecting a baby boy in May. We're all so excited for them and can't wait to meet baby Camden William!

I love to watch people open presents

The hostess had these adorable custom cake pops made!

Awkward baby bump picture lol

That night, Stephen and I ventured to a nearby town for date night. Our plan was to get a lite dinner then go to the Melting Pot for dessert. Well, turns out the delicious Greek salad we ate really filled us up and we were too full to eat at the Melting Pot! Super fail... so we ended up at Chick-fil-a for a frosted lemonade and milkshake (the milkshake was way better than the lemonade but then we looked at the calories and I was thankful for the lemonade).

Sunday we did our usual routine: church, Publix, cleaning and eating. We also nailed down our plans for our Disney trip in 3 weeks! We cannot wait for that weekend! It was so nice spending quality time together this weekend after being gone all last week.

Hope everyone had a great weekend!

Linking up with Biana.

  1. The elephant cake looks adorable as well as the other baby shower stuff! I love a good Sunday routine and YAY for Disney!

  2. The whole shower looks so cute but that elephant cake is so amazing!

  3. Hello fellow Knight!!! Looks like a great weekend! I've been meaning to take my husband to the Melting Pot for a while now. We may have to venture out that way this weekend.
