My 25th Birthday

Wednesday, July 13, 2016

This past Saturday, I celebrated my 25th birthday and it was the best day! We kicked off the celebrations with a big birthday lunch on Thursday (2 other girlfriends at work had July birthday's so we had a big girls birthday lunch) and on Friday, my group went to lunch for my birthday. It was so sweet of everyone and my friend even brought cupcakes!

On Saturday, I was hoping to sleep in but that didn't happen.. After I woke up, Stephen surprised me with making breakfast and bringing it to me while I was in bed :) Afterwards, I opened presents - Stephen got me a portable speaker and a mini-drone which is so funny! I honestly should've gotten him that one - he's having so much fun playing with it lol

I love his makeshift bows!

He was joking and said "I couldn't afford to get you a baby this year so I got you a baby drone" lol!!!

Please ignore my just-woke-up face but I had to show how small the drone is

All the cards we've gotten the past week

After playing with the drone, we packed up and headed over to Orlando to visit a hotel pool.. we have no community pools around us (go figure, because it's FL) and I wanted a pool day. We had so much fun lounging around and eating lunch! We felt so relaxed and didn't want to leave. After the pool, we changed and headed over to browse the stores and look around a little more at Disney Springs. It was perfect timing because it was not crowded at all and we beat everyone to the food by eating an early dinner. Of course we did the usual - Earl of Sandwich and Ghirardelli for desert :)

Thankfully, we left right before the storms came! It was the best day and Stephen did such a good job making me feel special!! Can't believe I'm 25!

For fun, here's Stephen playing with the drone and almost taking out my head lol

July 4th & Our 3rd Anniversary

Tuesday, July 12, 2016

After all the fun of Stephen's birthday, we slept in on July 4th and then I got to work on ironing. It literally look me all day to iron and finish up a few chores - so that was fun. That evening we had plans to meet our friends at the local minor league baseball game. We were able to get tickets that included dinner and free hats! It was soo hot the first half of the game but the 2nd half was so enjoyable! Our Manatee's took home a win and we watched the fireworks before heading home.

We were total cheeseballs by not only matching but wearing matching Old Navy flag shirts!! lol I wanted something red to wear and when I heard they were $2.50, I couldn't resist

There was a big traffic jam trying to leave the stadium but it was cool seeing a ton of fireworks going off around us! When we got home, a lot of our neighbors were gathered at the end of the street lighting off fireworks. We Stopped by to see the last ones get fired off then we headed home and watched the NYC fireworks show on TV.

The next day was our 3rd Anniversary (and our first Anniversary we had to work :( ). After work, we did presents and ate leftovers (how romantic) before heading out for our big surprise date! I've had this surprise activity planned for 2 weeks and I can't believe I was able to keep it a secret! On our way, I let Stephen guess and he figured out that we were doing an Escape Room!! He was so excited! I have to admit, I got a little nervous because we couldn't reserve a whole room to ourselves so I had no clue who we'd be playing with. Thankfully, we were paired with a sweet family and we all had so much fun together!!

Came home to this! I used up all the bows, so Stephen made his own :)

Stephen's been wanting jack stands (and everything else) to rotate his tires so I finally caved lol

He got me a new monogram for my new car that I'll (hopefully) be getting later this year! So thoughtful :)

We did a Shipwrecked room and they had us working with the lights off!! It was so cool!! We started off with 3 flashlights and then you found clues that provided light throughout the game. We finished it with 5 minutes to spare!!

We had soo much fun and can't wait to do another one!!

Stephen's 27th Birthday

Monday, July 11, 2016

I definitely underestimated how crazy last week was going to be, so now I'm going to take this whole week to catch up on what's been going on! As a quick update - we celebrated Stephen's 27th birthday, July 4th, our 3rd Anniversary and my 25th birthday. We are officially exhausted and basically need an entire day to sleep. I definitely want to make sure I capture everything that's been going on so I'm going to be breaking up these posts over the next few days. First up, Stephen's birthday!

Stephen's 27th Birthday was on Sunday, July 3rd so on Saturday, we headed over to the beach. We definitely failed because we got to the beach and realized we forgot the umbrella! We headed back home to pick it up so we could actually enjoy the day.. what should've taken 20 minutes to get to the beach ended up taking over an hour lol. Thankfully, the beach was still empty and we had a great time! Afterwards, we headed home for a big night of grilling!! I got Stephen a few grilling cook books at a used bookstore near my parents' house and there were soo many good recipes! We ended up making caramelized onion pitas, tomatoes, cucumber salad, homemade baked beans and lamb - Stephen did an amazing job!

We found beach chairs for $4 at Target!!!

Sunday morning, I surprised Stephen with breakfast in bed before heading out to church. After church, we did presents and cake then headed over to my SIL, Lauren's mom's house on a lake. All Stephen wanted to do was "go on the boat with Siena (our niece)" and that's exactly what he got! We spent the afternoon on the boat, did some tubing and then spent some time in the water. It was so much fun and was the best boat day!

One happy birthday boy!

Her snarl face makes us laugh soo hard!!

He loves her so much!!

She PASSED OUT

After the boat, we got ready, did cake and presents with everyone then we headed over to Disney Springs for dinner. They officially finished the newest section of Disney Springs and it's amazing!! We didn't have time to browse the stores but we ate dinner and walked around some before calling it a night.

The next few pictures of Stephen and Siena are my favorite :)

We were celebrating both our birthday's lol

Right before we left, Stephen and his older brother competed in an agility contest at the Under Armor store. We kept laughing and saying how they'll be 40 and we'll all be in there with our kids watching them compete!
