Five on Friday

Happy March!! I totally have spring fever right now! It's finally hot again in Florida and I am ready to pull out all my spring/summer clothes and pack away all of my winter clothes - I might actually do this on Saturday since we don't have plans. I've also had new-spring-clothes-fever (if that's a thing) and have been finding some really cute items recently (see #1 & #5).

One
My skirt that I ordered from Chicwish finally arrived and I love it! I threw it on with my chambray shirt and nude heels real quick to get a feel for how it looks. I can't wait to actually style it and wear it somewhere. I will say, I probably won't buy from Chicwish again just because it's an international store and not based out of America so the shipping takes forever and I got charged a small international shipping fee that I wasn't aware of. Also, I'm just not a fan of online shopping in general because the skirt was a little too tight for my liking but it's a pain to return so I'm going to keep it - I just won't be able to eat large meals while wearing it.

Two
We got our invite to one of my good friend's wedding which I'm a bridesmaid for! Cannot wait for their wedding on May 2! I loved their invites so I had to share :)

Three
These little guys are now being sold in stores (how is that Easter is a month away!?) so I had to grab a bag. Right now we're doing pretty well with the self control...

Four
I had forgotten I wanted to watch the SNL 40th Anniversary show until Tuesday this week when we were looking for something to watch. It was so funny and so so neat to see all the great comedians from SNL of the past 40 years unite on one stage. You can find Part 1 here and Part 2 here

Five
Yesterday I was on the hunt for some "sandal heels" (I know that's totally not a thing but I don't know how else to explain them) and couldn't find them in stores anywhere! For me, if the heel is too high, I really struggle walking with this style of shoe. I found a pair at Target for $30 and of course they didn't have the nude color in my size. I was told by an employee after she tried to find them at another store that they're discontinuing them! I made sure to order a pair last night (free shipping so this is a great deal) before they were really gone. I can't wait to wear them for my friends wedding (#2 above as well as other weddings and showers).

While on my hunt for the perfect sandal heel, I got a little distracted at T.J.Maxx and found some AMAZING deals. I couldn't find any of the items I bought online, but while looking for them I kept seeing some great items for great prices! Anywho, I found this pink dress (excuse the wrinkles) on sale for $20! I'm not sure if you remember my J Crew list of loves, but there was a dress on there with this similar style. I wasn't sure how this would look on my body since I have big hips, but it was flattering and super comfy so I snagged it!

I have a big problem with finding rompers that fit since I'm so tall. I eyed this navy romper and fell in love. Thankfully it fit like a glove so I snagged that as well for $20.

Lastly, I've been trying to find a "fun" black dress for my friend's (same bride as #2 above) bachelorette party in a few weeks because all my black dresses are work dresses and not going out dresses. I grabbed this Express one for $7.50!! It has pockets and is the perfect LBD. It's not very tight/figure flattering around the waist (probably why it was on major sale) but if I add a belt, the problem is solved!

I couldn't believe all the things I found and for the prices I found them at! I think I'm officially a Maxonista (super cheesy, I know). Can't wait to wear these to events in the future!

Hope everyone has a great weekend!
