Fall Weather = Chili

So this past Sunday, Florida had some amazing but abnormal weather. Lately it's been raining and gross like literally everyday so it was amazing to walk out to door to head to church in 60 degree weather. Amazing. If the weather is crisp and amazing what does that mean you have to cook? Chili! Sunday night Stephen and I made some delicious chili then made a fire outside and toasted marshmallows. The perfect end to a perfect weekend.

This chili is super easy to make and it's actually the chili my mom always makes. All you have to do is saute onions, cook the hamburger meat and combine all the ingredients in a pot and cook!

Ingredients:
- 1lb hamburger meat
- 2 15 oz cans kidney beans, undrained (we used one kidney bean and one black bean)
- 2 15 oz cans diced tomatoes, undrained (we used one regular and one chili flavored - will probably try both chili flavored next time)
- 1 packet chili seasoning (we used mild)
- 1 medium onion

Directions:
1. Cook the hamburger meat.
2. Chop/dice the onion and saute in a skillet.
3. Combine the tomatoes, beans and seasoning in a large pot. Add the onion and meat once both are done cooking.
4. Mix everything together and stir until boiling/everything is heated through.
5. Top with cheese, sour cream, etc. and enjoy!

Note: This does make a large batch - this will probably give us 8ish servings.
